The Roman Villa of Desenzano Villa romana di Desenzano del Garda, is in the town of Desenzano del Garda on the shore of Lake Garda. It is located in the comune of the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy. It is one of the most important late antiquity Roman villas in northern Italy. it is possible that the person who ordered the final stage of the building works of the villa was Flavius Magnus Decentius, brother of the Emperor Magnentius (350 – 353 A.C.), from whom the city of Desenzano takes its name today.
