About
Vacone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region of Latium, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Rieti. The parish church, San Giovanni Evangelista is dedicated to St John the Evangelist. An elaborate ancient Roman villa has been excavated nearby dating from the 2nd century BC.
