Quri Winchus is an archaeological site located in the Canchayllo District of Jauja Province, within the Junín Region of Peru. The site is notable for its circular buildings, which date back to the Wanka period. These structures reflect the architectural style and cultural practices of the Huanca people, who inhabited the region during the Late Iron Age and into the Early Post-Classical Period. Situated at an altitude of 3,850 meters, the site offers insights into high-altitude habitation and the adaptation strategies of ancient communities.
