The Cao Cao Mausoleum, located in Xigaoxue Village, Henan Province, China, is an elaborate brick tomb that is believed to be the final resting place of the prominent warlord Cao Cao, who died in 220 CE. This archaeological site, dating from the Late Classical Period, features a structure covering approximately 740 square meters, with two main chambers and four side chambers connected by passages. The tomb reflects the historical significance of Cao Cao's role during the late Eastern Han dynasty and the formation of the state of Cao Wei. Although the site has generated controversy regarding its authenticity, it has yielded over 250 relics, including stone paintings and tablets, offering insights into the social and cultural aspects of Cao Cao's era. The site remains an important subject for archaeological study and debate.
