Burchmullo, located in northeast Uzbekistan, is an archaeological site of notable historical significance. It features a Neanderthal site, indicating human habitation during the Middle Paleolithic period. In medieval times, Burchmullo was a strategic town and fortress, highlighting its importance in regional defense and trade. The presence of polymetallic deposits, including arsenic, bismuth, lead, and silver, underscores its role in mining activities. During the 18th and 19th centuries, gold was extracted from the area using traditional methods.
