Laqaya, located in the Altiplano of Bolivia within the Potosí Department, Nor Lípez Province, Colcha 'K' Municipality, is an archaeological site recognized for its historic significance as a settlement. The site, named from the Aymara language meaning 'ruins of a building,' offers insights into the domestic life of past societies through its habitation structures. Declared a National Archaeological Monument in 2004, Laqaya reflects the architectural practices during the Late Classical and Early Post-Classical periods.
