Bawomataluo village

Bawomataluo Village, located on Nias Island in Indonesia, is a remarkable archaeological site known for its well-preserved traditional architecture and cultural significance. Built on a flat-topped hill, the village's design is attributed to King Laowo in the 18th century. It features a unique layout that incorporates megalithic monuments, known locally as daro-daro and naitaro, used in communal rituals.
