About
Ein el-Jarba, located in the Jezreel Valley of Israel, represents a significant archaeological site with evidence of two distinct occupation phases. The site reveals an Early Chalcolithic settlement attributed to the Wadi Rabah culture, characterized by architectural remains and classic Wadi Rabah pottery. This phase also includes burials and a plastered surface with circular installations. The site's subsequent occupation during the Early Bronze Age IB is marked by oval houses, living floors, pits, and a stone-lined silo. These findings illustrate the continuous human habitation and evolving architectural practices from the 6th to the 4th millennium BCE, offering insights into early settlement patterns and material culture in the region.
