The site of Saint Erasmus near Ohrid, North Macedonia, is an archaeologically significant location featuring a Christian basilica and a necropolis. The basilica, which dates back to the 6th century CE, is a three-part structure that showcases the early Christian architectural style of the region. The accompanying necropolis, with 124 graves, was actively used from the 6th to the 12th centuries CE, offering insights into the burial practices and religious customs of the post-classical period. This site provides valuable information about the spread of Christianity and its associated cultural practices in this part of the Balkans during the Early to Late Post-Classical Period.
