The Fengbitou Archaeological Site, located in Linyuan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is a significant prehistoric site that showcases the progression of human cultures in the region. Spanning an area of 9.7 hectares, the site offers a rich stratigraphy with cultural layers from the Tapenkeng, Niuchoutzi, and Fengpitou cultures, dating back as far as 5200 years ago. Key archaeological findings include cord-marked and painted potteries, stone tools, and other artifacts, which reflect the material culture and daily life of the prehistoric inhabitants.
