About

Nargiztapa is an archaeological site located in the Mil plain of Khojavend Rayon, Azerbaijan. Situated approximately 5 km east of Khojavend and south of the Khanashenchay River, this site contains the remains of a settlement dating back to the Middle Bronze Age. The locality's cultural deposits align with those found in the upper layers of Uzarliktapa, another Bronze Age site. Nargiztapa is notable for its ceramics, which have been instrumental in identifying its chronological context and cultural affiliations. The site offers valuable insights into the habitation patterns and material culture of the era, making it a significant point of study for understanding the broader Bronze Age landscape of the region.
