The Aigyr-Zhal 2 site, located in Naryn city within the University of Central Asia's territory in Kyrgyzstan, is an archaeologically significant location that spans multiple historical periods. The site features a variety of artifacts and structures, including burial mounds, charcoal deposits, and ritual pits, indicating human occupation and activity from the Mesolithic period through to the Turkic era. Excavations have revealed evidence of cultural layers from the Mesolithic (around 10,000 BCE) to the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and into the Late Post-Classical period (13th century CE). Notably, the site has yielded important findings such as burial mounds, ritual pits with fireplaces, and a golden bead, emphasizing its historical and cultural richness.
