El Gour, also known as Bazina du Gour, is an archaeological site in the Fès-Meknès region of northern Morocco. Dated to have been constructed between the 4th and 2nd centuries BCE, the site features a bazina, or a burial mound, indicating its use as a funerary structure for individuals of high status. Located above a river valley and surrounded by an agricultural landscape, El Gour stands as a testament to the burial practices of the time. The site's significance is further recognized by its inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List since July 1995, underscoring its cultural and historical importance.
