Al-Khawdh, located in the Muscat Governorate of Oman, is an archaeological site of significant importance primarily associated with the Early Iron Age, specifically the Lizq-Rumaylah period. The site features a large cemetery situated approximately 2500 meters southeast of a notable hoard site. The cemetery is a testament to the burial practices of the Early Iron Age, providing insights into the social and cultural aspects of the period. Additionally, the discovery of a hoard comprising over 300 implements made of copper alloy highlights the metallurgical advancements and trade practices during this era.
