The Kulmergen Kala, a 19th-century fortress, is a remnant of the region's defensive architecture with its remaining walls marking its past strategic importance. Additionally, the Shikhalov Mausoleum, an octagonal domed structure, is an important funerary site believed to house the tomb of Nasipuri Sufi ascetic Abū ʿAlī al-Daqqāq, who died in 1015 CE. This mausoleum represents the religious heritage and architectural style of the period.
